PhD position in modular robotics

The
Cyber-Physical Systems group led by Prof. Matthias Althoff at the
Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for a PhD
position in modular robotics.

Position Details:

• Expected Start Date: 1 February - 1 May 2025
• Duration: 3 years (4 years possible)
• Focus Areas: Machine learning, motion planning, optimization, and control theory


• Skills Required: Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++; background in robotics, engineering, or computer science.


• Funding: ~€4200-€4500/month per TV-L E13 pay scale.

Ideal candidates are intrinsically motivated, enjoy teamwork, and have experience in robotics or automation. International applicants from diverse backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
