Job Description:


We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic early-career Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that leverage machine learning techniques to build intelligent applications. You will work with and learn from top researchers and engineers in the industry, contributing to the development of AI solutions that deliver significant value to our clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with machine learning researchers to facilitate the productionization of large-scale and cutting-edge artifacts (examples: machine learning models, scripts for fine tuning and testing models, etc.), the duties of which can include scaling up model/algorithm code and architecting systems that will be deploying the artifacts
  • Work with large datasets to preprocess, clean, and prepare the data for training/inference
  • Design, implement and optimize processing pipelines for scalability and efficiency
  • Architect systems to facilitate research experimentation and artifact evaluation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and MLOps-related tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Math, or a related field
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
  • Proficiency in software engineering principles and software development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Some experience with latest MLOps tools and machine learning frameworks/libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning and staying current with new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), related compute and storage systems, and with deploying machine learning models
  • Experience working with the Linux OS
  • Experience working with Docker containers
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including version control and agile methodologies
  • Previous internship or project experience in machine learning or data science and/or MLOps

Salary: 90k-110k
