Director of artificial intelligence/AI safety circle

Hello! I am the director of Kaleidoscope Circles, an institute for teaching college-level classes to high-school students. We are hiring a director of a new circle on artificial intelligence including AI safety. I believe that this is a highly impactful role, as it can help shape the future plans of the kids who are most passionate about the subject and give them as many tools as possible to become as good as possible at what they do.

This is expected to be roughly a half-time position at first. Candidates located in the Bay Area are preferred, but we are open to remote work as well.
